Dry winter storage & float maintenance

Comprehensive support to preserve the performance and value of your boat

For over 40 years, CNG Agence du Port has been providing boaters with expert winter storage, maintenance, and care for their vessels, whether ashore or afloat.

Our mission: to protect your boat during the off-season, anticipate technical issues, and ensure it's ready to sail as soon as the warmer weather returns.

Dry winter storage: secure storage & thorough maintenance

In-house storage area (0–33 feet)

We have a secure storage area located in the port of Golfe-Juan, dedicated to boats up to 33 feet. Your boat is taken care of as soon as it's hauled out of the water and then placed in our dry dock in a controlled environment.

Storage for larger vessels (> 33 feet)

Thanks to our professional partners based in the Alpes-Maritimes region, we can also accommodate larger vessels while guaranteeing the same high level of service and security.

What a complete winterization includes

Winterization isn't just a period of rest for the boat; it's a strategic time to carry out the checks and maintenance that extend its lifespan.

-> Checks and Safety Measures:

  • General inspection of the hull, deck, deck fittings, and underwater hull
  • Checking for wear, impacts, or leaks
  • Securing the systems (fuel, water, gas, electricity)
  • Checking valves, through-hull fittings, strainers, and filters

-> Technical Systems Maintenance:

  • Disconnecting, charging, or maintaining batteries
  • Checking the electrical system (12V/220V)
  • Checking onboard electronics (GPS, depth sounder, instrument panel, etc.)
  • Purge the fuel system if necessary

-> Engine and Mechanical Maintenance (depending on needs and model):

  • Cooling and flushing
  • Draining and replacing filters
  • Cleaning the engine compartment
  • Visual inspections of belts, anodes, lower units, or IPS shafts
  • Lubricating and applying anti-corrosion protection

-> Exterior Maintenance:

  • Complete hull and deck wash
  • Bilge cleaning
  • Inspection of underwater hull
  • Boat preparation During the downtime period

Each intervention is logged and scheduled for optimal return to service.
